Digital Governance Ministry completes automatic Personal Number assignment
The Ministry of Digital Governance announced that the automatic assignment of Personal Numbers to citizens who had not obtained one by the 5 November deadline has been completed.
According to the General Secretariat for Information Systems and Digital Governance, 6,602,827 citizens were automatically issued a Personal Number during this final phase. Since the reform began on 3 June, a total of 9,311,529 Personal Numbers have been assigned.
Citizens whose numbers were automatically generated are being notified gradually by email, through gov.gr, and via alerts in the “Gov.gr Wallet”.
Personal Numbers can be viewed at any time on the pa.gov.gr platform using TaxisNet credentials, as well as in a dedicated section of the “Gov.gr Wallet” for immediate access.
