Authorities seized 9.39 million smuggled cigarettes at Piraeus port on Thursday, officials said.
The contraband was found in a shipping container arriving from Thailand and headed for Bratislava, Slovakia.
The cigarettes were hidden behind a load of trolley suitcases in the container, which contained 939 cartons with 469,500 packs.
Authorities estimate the smuggled goods would have resulted in a 2 million euro loss in taxes and duties for the government.
The container and cigarettes have been handed over to customs, and the investigation is ongoing, led by the Central Port Authority of Piraeus.
