Athens welcomes the Armenia-Azerbaijan agreements – Praises the role of the USA
“Greece welcomes the announced agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan as an important step towards ending decades of conflict in the South Caucasus,” emphasized the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also praised the agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
At the same time, the Ministry recognized the role of the USA in achieving the agreement.
“Greece welcomes the announced agreements between Armenia and Azerbaijan as an important step towards ending decades of conflict in the South Caucasus,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in the post.
In conclusion, it highlighted that “we commend both sides and the U.S. government for the progress made towards normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.”
