At the ballot box, first for the municipality then for the region to be voted in elections
Citizens who will go to the polls will vote for both the municipality and the state. Citizens who will vote in two ballot boxes are first wondering what they will vote for.
In order to avoid invalid votes, we have to be careful which vote we cast first.
The relevant law clearly states how to vote.
Citizens who will go to the polls will first vote to determine the mayor. A white envelope will be given for the vote to be used for the municipality.
Voters who cast their ballot in the municipal ballot box will then receive a teal envelope for the region. The region vote will take place in the second round.
To put it in a simpler way:
- When we go to the ballot box, we will first cast our vote by putting the large size ballot paper in the white envelope to be given for the municipality.
- After casting our vote for the municipality, we will be given a sea blue envelope. We will put our small region vote in this blue envelope and vote for the region
