Alexandroupoli harbour will be opened for the use of the French army, roumors claim

It was claimed that Alexandroupoli Port will be opened to the use of the French army after the US army.
According to media reports, Alexandroupoli Port Director Konstantinos Hatzimihail held a meeting in Alexandroupoli with officers of the French Land Forces Strategic Transport and Supply Support Centre.
According to the news reports, it was discussed that Alexandroupoli Port will start to be used by the French army eight months after the first reconnaissance contact.
The Greek Parliament approved the Strategic Partnership Agreement for Cooperation in the Fields of Defence and Security signed with France on 28 September 2021 on 8 October 2021.
The second article of the agreement, which caused controversy, stipulates that if one of the parties is subjected to an armed attack in its sovereign territory, the other party will provide assistance.
