According to DYPA data, the programmes aim to support employment, improve workforce skills and strengthen the connection between professional training and the needs of the regional labour market.

Between August 2019 and June 2026, dozens of employment and training programmes were carried out across Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, targeting unemployed citizens, young people and workers seeking new skills.

Authorities highlighted that the initiatives are part of broader efforts to create employment opportunities, upgrade professional qualifications and support economic development in the region.
