Greece’s unemployment rate fell to 8.2% in November 2025, down from a revised 9.7% in November 2024 and 8.6% in October, data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) showed.

The number of unemployed declined to 395,436, marking a year-on-year drop of 62,458 people, or 13.6%, and a monthly decrease of 13,900, or 3.4%.
Unemployment among women fell to 10.6% from 12.3% a year earlier, while the rate for men eased to 6.3% from 7.5%. Youth unemployment in the 15–24 age group declined to 16.6% from 21.2%, while unemployment among those aged 25–74 dropped to 7.7% from 9%.
Employment rose to 4,406,148 people in November, up by 121,939 compared with a year earlier and by 38,600 from October, according to ELSTAT’s labour force survey.
