Labor and Social Affairs Minister Niki Kerameus on Thursday noted that unemployment in Greece was at its lowest level in 17 years in January 2025.
“Greece has the largest increase in employment in the 20-64 age group in the European Union countries between the third and fourth quarters of 2024.
Unemployment in Greece in January 2025 is at its lowest level in 17 years (since December 2008). We are not complacent. We continue to make a dynamic effort to boost employment even more, to reduce unemployment even more,” Kerameus said in a social media post.
