Free parking for electric cars extended until 2026

Drivers of electric cars will continue to enjoy free parking in municipal-controlled parking spaces for another two years, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has said.

The free parking measure, which applies to zero or low-emission electric cars emitting no more than 50 grams of CO2/km, will run to 31 December 2026.

The ministry advised that the special free parking badge for electric cars can be obtained through gov.gr.
