Consumer boycott on March 15, World Consumer Rights Day

The Hellenic Workers' Consumers' Association has called for a market boycott on March 15, World Consumer Rights Day.

"We are sending a strong message: on March 15 we do not shop! We are responding dynamically to precision and obscenity with our nationwide abstention," the Association notes in a statement.

Consumers demand immediate and substantial solutions to reduce the high prices of food and essential household goods, increased controls and penalties for profiteering, effective support for vulnerable households, transparency in consumer information, and the strengthening of purchasing power by increasing wages and pensions.
