Bulgarian Consul General in Thessaloniki holds talks in Komotini

Relations between the two countries were discussed during the visits.
Bulgarian Consul General to Thessaloniki Antov Markov and Consul Nikolay Karaivanov visited East Macedonia Thrace Region President Christos Metios and Komotini Mayor Yannis Garanis.
During the visits, the relations between the two friendly countries as well as cooperation opportunities in the fields of culture, health, trade, and infrastructure were discussed. Renewal of the Makas border gate and allowing buses to pass were also discussed in order to revive the tourism between the two countries and to prevent the density that occurs especially in the summer months.
