US President Donald Trump said Tuesday that Iran has agreed to allow international nuclear inspectors back into the country, despite Tehran's denial that any new commitments have been made regarding inspections of its nuclear program.

Speaking to reporters, Trump dismissed Iranian statements rejecting such an agreement and insisted that inspections would take place “at the appropriate time.” He also reiterated that Iran had agreed not to pursue nuclear weapons, saying ongoing contacts between Washington and Tehran were aimed at ensuring regional and global security.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry, however, denied making any new commitments related to international inspections or its nuclear activities, contradicting remarks by US officials, including Vice President JD Vance.

Authorities said the necessary conditions had been established for domestic and transit flights to resume over Iranian territory.
