Real Madrid stars' Facundo Campazzo and Gabriel Deck played a crucial role in Argentina’s victory at the Wukesong Sport Center in China's capital Beijing.
Campazzo scored 12 points, made six assists and took seven rebounds as Deck produced 13 points for his team.
Meanwhile, Orlando Magic's shooting guard Evan Fournier and New York Knicks' point guard Frank Ntilikina scored 16 points each for the French team, but they could not avoid the loss.
On Sunday, Argentina will take on Spain -- 2006 world champions -- in final while France will face Australia for bronze medal.
