The traffic accident that occurred in Senegal fell like a bomb on the country's agenda. Two buses collided at around 15:15 local time near the city of Kaffrine.
In the statement made by Colonel Cheikh Fall, an officer of the Senegal National Fire Service, it was stated that the incident was a very big accident, and the expression "There were 125 victims and 38 lost their lives".
Stating that the injured were transferred to Kaffrine Hospital and nearby health institutions, Fall added that traffic returned to its normal course after the debris was removed. Many local officials came to the scene and made investigations.
