"World Breakfast Day" in Edirne

Xanthi Turkish Union and Komotini Turkish Youth Association also participated to the World Breakfast Day event in Edirne.
Xanthi Turkish Union and Komotini Turkish Youth Union teams participated in the "World Breakfast Day" event held by the Edirne Representation of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The team, consisting of Xanthi Turkish Union painting course students, members of the Komotini Turkish Youth Union Women's Branch and students, organized a day trip to Edirne on Sunday, June 4th.
The team headed by Xanthi Turkish Union Vice President Sevil Şerifoğlu, painting course instructor Zeynur Bargan, and Komotini Turkish Youth Union Women's Branch Head Aslı Ali had the opportunity to visit touristic and historical sites in the city.
At the breakfast organized by the Edirne Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye in a restaurant by the Meriç River on the occasion of "World Breakfast Day", children from Western Thrace and their families came together with the children staying in the love houses within the body of the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services in Edirne.
Edirne Representative of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Murat Ahmet Yörük, Deputy Governor of Edirne Sıdkı Zehin, AK Party Edirne Deputy Fatma Aksal, Edirne Mayor Recep Gürkan attended.
In his speech, Ambassador Murat Ahmet Yörük said that the main purpose of the 4th of June World Breakfast Day is to make the rich Turkish breakfast tradition a well-known and known occasion of togetherness both in the country and abroad.
After the speeches, Ottoman paste was offered to the children watching the illusion show and various gifts were given.
The children also visited the Balkan History and Ekmekçizade Caravanserai museums with their families.
After spending free time in Edirne, ITB and GTGB teams returned to Greece on the same day.
