The Democratic Power List of Kozlukebir Municipality issued a statement informing the public following the budget negotiations in the parliament.
"We expect service politics, not debt politics"

In the statement made by the main opposition Democratic Power List, the public was informed about the figures in the budget approved unanimously, while at the same time the expectations from the new administration in terms of service politics were expressed.

The statement made by the Democratic Power List is as follows:

"We held budget negotiations at the parliamentary meeting on Tuesday evening, 16 January 2024.

We unanimously approved the new year's budget as € 19,713,319.

While our municipality enters 2024 with a debt of approximately € 2,000,000, the total income in 2024 will be € 19,713,319 in 2024, with a total of € 1,630,000 in its coffers by the end of 2023.

At the same time, if we take into account that the amount of additional money to be transferred to our municipality in 2024 has been increased by € 1,868,384.00 according to the decision taken by the current government, it is understood that the total money that will enter the coffers of our municipality will be € 21,581,703. In this case, when we subtract the existing debt in 2024, it is seen that the remaining € 19,581,703 will be used during the year.

Considering all these, it is seen that our municipality is not a municipality in debt, but a financially very strong municipality with the resources obtained from the projects carried out in the past period.

On this occasion, we expect the new administration to stop misleading the public opinion with debt politics and to start service politics that will find solutions to the problems of the people of Kozlukebir Municipality.
