Warning to businesses over “Fake G.E.MI. Websites”

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of İskeçe has issued a warning to its members regarding fraudulent websites targeting businesses during registration procedures.

According to the Chamber, several unauthorized sites have been demanding payments from companies under the pretense of registering them with the General Commercial Registry (G.E.MI.).

Officials stressed that these sites have no connection to the official G.E.MI. system. Businesses are advised not to make any payments, not to respond to suspicious messages, and not to click on questionable links.

All official procedures, the Chamber emphasized, are carried out exclusively through the website www.businessportal.gr.
