Warning against fraudulent websites demanding payments for business registry listings

The Chamber of Commerce of İskeçe has issued a warning about unauthorized websites falsely claiming to register businesses in the General Commercial Registry (G.E.MI.) and demanding payments from entrepreneurs.

These websites have no connection to the official G.E.MI. system and may be attempts to defraud businesses and professionals.

The Chamber reminds entrepreneurs that the only official online services of G.E.MI. are provided exclusively through https://www.businessportal.gr.

Business owners are advised to:
– Not make any payments,
– Not reply to such messages,
– Not click on any suggested links.

Any email requesting payment for “registration” or “renewal” in G.E.MI. should be ignored.
