Western Thrace Turks voted for Mufti in 83 mosques in Xanthi.
Mufti elections were held in 83 mosques in Xanthi today for the Mufti of Xanthi, which was vacated after the death of Mufti Ahmet Mete.
After the elections held in 83 mosques in Xanthi during the Friday prayers, the results are gathered in the Mufti of Xanthi under the supervision of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board.
According to the information obtained, after the counting process to be carried out until the afternoon prayer, the results will be announced at the Masjid-i Atik next to the Xanthi Mufti after the afternoon prayer. Muslim Turks in Xanthi will have learned about their new Mufti this evening.
