Türkiye commemorates Dr. Sadık Ahmet on 31st anniversary of his death

Türkiye's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a commemorative message marking the 31st anniversary of the death of Dr. Sadık Ahmet, a prominent figure in the rights struggle of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace and founder of the Friendship Equality Peace Party (FEP).
In its statement, the ministry described Dr. Ahmet as "the leader of the Western Thrace Turks and an unforgettable figure in their struggle for rights," expressing respect and remembrance on the anniversary of his passing.
The statement emphasized Türkiye's continued support for the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace, saying that Ankara would continue to stand by the community and defend its legitimate rights.
