Şentop made the following statements in his post on his Twitter account: "The Turkish presence in Western Thrace is a fact that no one can deny. On January 29, the Ethnic Resistance and Social Solidarity Day of the Western Thrace Turks, we underline that we will always follow the struggle for the recognition of the identities of our kinsmen."
