Turkish organisations in Western Thrace congratulate President Erdoğan

Turkish institutions and organisations in Western Thrace congratulated the re-elected President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In the congratulatory message published on the social media account of the Advisory Board of the Turkish Minority of Western Thrace, it was stated: "We congratulate Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan who was re-elected as the President of Türkiye by receiving the majority of the votes cast in the elections held in our motherland, the Republic of Türkiye, and wish him success in his next duty. May the new era that started with the election be beneficial to the world, especially the Turkish nation."

Elected Mufti of Komotini İbrahim Şerif also stated the following in his congratulatory message:

"I congratulate President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who won the 2nd round of presidential elections in our motherland Turkey, and I wish him success in his duty from Almighty Allah. I pray to Almighty Allah that the Turkish Century will be auspicious for the Turkish Nation in particular, the Turkish World, the Geography of Hearts and the whole world."

In the message published by the Xanthi Turkish Union (ITB), it was hoped that the new period would reflect positively on the relations between Türkiye and Greece and it was stated that "We congratulate Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who became the President of the Republic of Türkiye by winning the Presidential Election held in our homeland, and we wish him success in his duty."

Halit Habipoğlu, President of the Federation of Western Thrace Turks in Europe (ABTTF), in his social media post said "I congratulate Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President elected as a result of the Presidential Election held in the 100th anniversary of our motherland, the Republic of Türkiye. May it be auspicious for our motherland."

Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of Xanthi, also wrote on his social media account: "In the 2nd round of presidential elections in our motherland Türkiye, Mr Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was re-elected as President. I would like to congratulate Mr President and ask my Lord to be auspicious for our Motherland and the whole Islamic world."
