Turkish Consuls General met with compatriots in İskeçe
Türkiye’s Consul General to Thessaloniki Efe Ceylan and Gümülcine (Komotini) Consul General Aykut Unal met with compatriots from İskeçe (Xanthi) and performed Friday prayers at the Sunne Mosque.
Türkiye’s Thessaloniki Consul General Efe Ceylan and Gümülcine (Komotini) Consul General Aykut Unal visited İskeçe's Sünne District on Friday, 20 January 2023 and met with fellow citizens.
Consul Generals Efe Ceylan and Aykut Ünal met with their cognates during their visit to the Sünne District, and performed Friday prayers with them in the neighborhood mosque.
The residents of the neighborhood welcomed the consul generals who visited İskeçe.
After the Friday prayer, the cognates chatted with the important guests and took a souvenir photo with them.
Consul Generals Efe Ceylan and Aykut Ünal thanked the compatriots who hosted them in the best way and showed interest during their visit to the neighborhood.
During the visits to the Consul Generals in İskeçe, Mufti of İskeçe Mustafa Trampa, İskeçe Deputies Hüseyin Zeybek and Burhan Baran, DMT State Assembly Member Rıdvan Kurak, İskeçe Deputy Mayors Süha Bekiroğlu and Levent Karaosman, Mayor of Mustafçova Rıdvan Delihüseyin, President of the Western Thrace Minority Association Hüseyin Baltacı. Turkish Union President Ozan Ahmetoğlu, İskeçe Turkish Minority Schools Committee Chairman Attorney Ahmet Kara, FEP Party Deputy Chairman Bahri Belço, İskeçe former Deputy Governor Musa Vidinli, former Mayor of Mustafçova Municipality Mucahid Dukkanci, İskeçe Deputy Mufti Ahmet Hraloğlu, Sunne Mosque imam Cüneyt, Xanthi Mufti Staff and many fellow citizens.
After the prayer, the consul generals, who visited İskeçe and embraced with their fellow citizens, were offered a meal.
