The fire that broke out approximately 500 metres from the village of Ruşenler in Sofulu Municipality of Evros province was brought under control.
The fire that broke out approximately 500 metres from the village of Ruşenler in Sofulu Municipality of Evros province was brought under control.
The fire broke out on Wednesday, 10 July at noon in a field close to the village of Ruşenler and was first responded to by the residents of the region and the fire brigades in the region.
40 firefighters, including 10 fire trucks, responded to the fire from land and air.
While the fire was under control, it was reported that about 40 decares of forest area was burnt.
