The current situation and problems of the Turkish Education as Mother Tongue in the Balkans
Dr. Pervin Hayrullah, General Director of Western Thrace Culture and Education Company (BAKEŞ), will participate as a speaker at the panel "Turkish Education as Mother Tongue in the Balkans: Current Situation and Problems" panel as a speaker.
On 30 May Thursday, Pervin Hayrullah will deliver a speech on "The Past and Present of Turkish Education in Western Thrace Turkish Minority Schools" in the conference to be organised in Edirne-Türkiye.
The panel will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Hüseyinoğlu and the other speakers and their topics are as follows
- Prof. Dr Yavuz Kartallıoğlu (Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University): "Teaching Turkish in the Balkans in the 101st Year of the Republic"
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Osman Emin (North Macedonia) "The Development and Current Status of Turkish Education as a Mother Tongue in North Macedonia"
- Assoc. Prof. Dr. Harun Bekir (Plovdiv Paisiy Hilendarski University) "Turkish Language Teaching in the Transition to Democracy in Bulgaria"
The panel, which will take place at Trakya University Faculty of Pharmacy Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk Conference Hall, in Edirne, will start at 14.00.
