The 9th Festival "Xanthi - City of Music School Dreams" for 2024 successfully completed

In the afternoon of Saturday, April 27, 2024, the 9th Festival "Xanthi - City of Music Schools' Dreams" was held in the crowded central square of the city. Specifically, a concert took place with Nikos Kypourgos as the conductor, who melodically conducted the children, impressing all those present.
Representatives of the municipality, volunteers and children of all ages were present, vindicated the organizers and renewed the appointment for next year, promising new musical surprises...
The mayor of Xanthi, Stratos Kontos, stressed:
"I am very happy as mayor of Xanthi, since I welcome all these children together with the accompanying teachers who for one week fill our city with happy sounds , filling our souls with optimism. I want to thank you and tell you that the municipality of Xanthi is here to support such efforts, to contribute to the dissemination of musical education in a city that truly 'gives birth' to culture."
Also, the Vice-Regional Governor of Xanthi, Polyxeni Brika stressed that this year's festival offered a special experience to citizens and visitors.Then, she thanked the mayor for the organization, the director of the music school, the volunteers and especially the children.
The deputy regional director of education of the region, Maria Kosmidou, although she could not attend, congratulated all the children and all those who contributed to the success of the event.

Finally, the director of the Music School of Xanthi, Christos Vardikeldoglou, after warmly thanking all those who worked for this year's event, said:
