The US, which has turned Alexandroupoli into an arsenal, has moved the vehicles in question to a different point this time.
They moved it to Romania
In the images reflected on social media, it was seen that military vehicles were transported to Romania.
The Greek press reported that a large number of helicopters, UAVs, tanks, artillery and heavy weapons were planned to arrive in Greece with an "unprecedented" large-scale military shipment from the USA to the Greek port of Alexandroupoli.
Exercise extending to the Balkans and Central Europe
It was stated that the purpose of the shipment was an exercise starting from Alexandroupoli and extending to the Balkans and Central Europe through Romania and Bulgaria, and it was reminded that the USNS Yumma type military warship, which will make the shipment, shipped to the region for a similar exercise last year.
Within the scope of the dispatch, a large number of military vehicles and equipment, including Romeo, Sikorsky, Chinook-type helicopters, M1 Abrams-type tanks, were dispatched to the region.
