Speaker of the Turkish Parliament Şentop accepted the Advisory Board
Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Mustafa Şentop met with the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board delegation.
The delegation of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board was finally received by the President of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Mustafa Şentop, within the scope of its Ankara contacts.

“As part of our visits to Ankara we, the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board delegation, respectively, were received by Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Abdullah Eren, Chairman of Turks Abroad and Related Communities, Mr. Hakan Çavuşoğlu, Chairman of the Turkish Parliamentary Human Rights Investigation Committee, and Commission members, Mr. Fuat Oktay, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye and finally, Mr. Mustafa Şentop, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye.
We had the opportunity to talk about the chronic and current problems of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority at the meetings, where we were welcomed very warmly and sincerely. They made us very happy by expressing their strong support for us and our minority. We would like to thank the state officials of the Republic of Türkiye who took the time and hosted our Advisory Board members very well.”
