Small livestock slaughter begins in Rhodope region
Rıdvan Hacı Mehmet, Deputy Regional Governor of East Macedonia and Thrace responsible for Agriculture and Livestock, announced that the slaughter of small livestock will commence on Monday across 37 villages in the Rodopi region.

Slaughter in Non-Affected Villages: Starting Monday, controlled slaughter under veterinary supervision will occur in 37 villages, including Evrenköy, Kurcalı, Yassıhöyük, and Kozlukebir. Operations will be conducted at the Şapçı Abattoir.
Quarantined Villages: Farmers in quarantined areas must adhere to strict protocols, including burying the heads and internal organs of animals to prevent disease spread.
