Sinan Ahmet raises tobacco farmers’ concerns at global meeting in Italy
Sinan Ahmet, President of the Thrace Tobacco Producers’ Cooperative, represented Western Thrace’s tobacco growers at the 2025 World Tobacco Growers’ Association (UNITAB) meeting held in Naples, Italy, with participation from 12 countries.

Ahmet reaffirmed his commitment to voicing farmers’ concerns in global forums, stating:
“We will be present wherever agriculture—and especially our tobacco—is discussed. Every step we take is for a better tomorrow. We will continue working tirelessly for our producers, bringing their issues to the forefront at every opportunity.”
