In an effort to control the outbreak of sheep and goat pox, the Veterinary Department of İskeçe has announced that starting October 9, 2025, three vehicle disinfection stations will be operational for:
In an effort to control the outbreak of sheep and goat pox, the Veterinary Department of İskeçe has announced that starting October 9, 2025, three vehicle disinfection stations will be operational for:
- Transport vehicles carrying raw milk, animal feed, and live animals
- Other agricultural vehicles
- Passenger vehicles wishing to undergo disinfection
Locations of Disinfection Stations in İskeçe:
- At the junction leading to Siroko village and the Panagia Kalamou Monastery, opposite the Agriani Hotel.
- At the junction near the former SEVATH factory, inside the facility.
- After the junction towards Mikro Tympano village, in the lane coming from İskeçe.
Operating Hours:
Monday to Saturday
08:30 – 16:30
Vehicle owners and drivers, both professional and private, are requested to stop at these points to disinfect their vehicles.
