Seminar on “The importance of boundaries for raising independent and responsible children” held in Xanthi
The Board of Trustees and the Parents-Teachers Association of Xanthi Central Turkish Minority Primary School organized an educational seminar for parents on Wednesday, May 21, under the title: “The Importance of Boundaries for Raising Independent and Responsible Children.” The event was part of the school’s ongoing initiative, “Let the Experts Speak, Let Us Learn.”
The seminar was held in the school building and featured clinical psychologist Koray Bağdatlı as the guest speaker. The event attracted a large number of parents, as well as members of the Board and Parents-Teachers Association.
In a joint statement after the event, the organizing committees shared the following message:
“We hosted the final speaker of our ‘Let the Experts Speak, Let Us Learn’ project this evening. The topic was great, and with Psychologist Koray Bağdatlı delivering the talk, it turned out to be both educational and full of laughter. We are definitely planning to repeat this in the next academic year. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Mr. Bağdatlı for accepting our invitation.”
The seminar aimed to support parents in setting healthy boundaries that help children develop autonomy and responsibility, and it concluded with enthusiastic feedback and a strong call for similar future initiatives.
