Salih Yörük announced his candidacy from Topsidis' list

Salih Yörük from Şahin, former Councillor of Mustaçova Municipality, decided to continue local politics in the race for Eastern Macedonia - Thrace State Assembly Membership. Salih Yörük announced his candidacy from the list of Hristos Topsidis.

Salih Yörük, a tradesman-businessman residing in Şahin village of Mustafçova Municipality of Xanthi, announced on his personal social media account that he will be a candidate for Assembly Member in the State of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace from the list of Topsidis in the local elections to be held on 8 October.

Salih Yörük, former councillor of Mustafçova Municipality, made the following statement about the upcoming provincial elections and his candidacy:

"As everyone knows, I have been participating in the local government elections in Mustafçova Municipality since 2012. I have taken part in the deputy mayor's office and many other local government boards and commissions. God willing, I have come out of all of them with my forehead. Of course, we have had a lot of work that we could not do as well as what we could do. But I have always continued for our society with goodwill and effort. During this whole process, I worked with experienced names from every institution, organisation and ministry.

Effective from today, I have decided to continue my local administration experience, which I have gained over the years, in the Presidency of the State of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace with your efforts and support. For this reason, the Regional Synthesis List candidate for the Presidency of the State of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, Mr. Christodoulos Topsidis. I am also on this path to serve our region for 5 years under the presidency of Christodoulos Topsidis.

As always, I ask for your strong and decisive support as a candidate for State Councillor for Eastern Macedonia and Thrace in the local government elections to be held on Sunday 8 October 2023."
