Salih Yörük's father to be buried in Şahin today
The father of Salih Yörük, Advisor to the President of Eastern Macedonia - Thrace and Member of the Region Assembly, who passed away yesterday, will be buried today (Wednesday 3 April).
Hüseyin Yörük, who passed away at the age of 84, will be buried after the funeral prayer to be performed following the afternoon prayer in Şahin today.
Salih Yörük, advisor to the President of the State Christodoulos Topsidis and member of the Region Assembly, announced the death of his father with a post on social media as follows:
"Dear friends, a deep sadness has overtaken me today. I feel a deep emptiness in my heart with the news that my father has passed away. However, despite the pain in my heart, we have a duty to keep his memory alive and send him off in peace. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, 3 April 2024, after the afternoon prayer."
Born in 1940 in Şahin, Hüseyin Yörük will be buried in Şahin cemetery after the afternoon prayer to be performed at Şahin Karaca Ahmet Mosque today.
