Rhodope Chamber of Physicians determines its new management
After the elections held on Sunday, October 16 at the Rhodope Chamber of Physicians, the new board of directors was determined.
For the first time, three people were elected to the board of directors from the list of doctors from the Turkish minority.
Three lists, namely “Independent Renewal Movement”, “Independent Doctors Movement” and “Independent Democratic Doctors Movement” competed in the elections.
Seven people from the list of the Independent Doctors Movement, three people from the list of the Independent Renewal Movement and one person from the list of the Independent Democratic Doctors Movement were elected to the 11-member executive board.
Doctors from the Turkish minority in the Rhodope province, on the other hand, participated to the elections with their own lists, as before. Mustafa Ferhat (Op. Dr. Urology Specialist), Mehmet Mesut (Op. Dr. Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist), Dr.Mehmet Dinçer (Internal Medicine Specialist); Mehmet Eminoğlu (Op. Dr. Ear Nose and Throat Specialist) to the supervisory board; Hüsamettin Mehmet (Family Physician) was elected to the disciplinary board, and Bülent Kamiloğlu (Anesthesiologist) was elected as the Rhodope representative of the Greek Chamber of Physicians.
The board of directors will meet in the coming days to determine the president of the Rhodope Chamber of Physicians.
