Retired teacher Hüseyin Mümin passed away
Hüseyin Mümin, a retired teacher from Narlıköy, lost his life. Hüseyin Mümin will be buried in the village cemetery on Tuesday, 20 February (today) after the afternoon prayer.
Hüseyin Mümin was born in 1943 in Narlıköy of Yassıköy Municipality of Komotini. He completed primary school in Narlıköy Turkish Primary School. In 1956-57 academic year, he passed the entrance exam to the Turkish Teacher Training Schools and went to Eskişehir Yunus Emre Primary School in Türkiye.
He continued his education and graduated in 1962-1963 academic year.
After his compolsary military service, he applied to work as a teacher in Susurköy in the 1965-66 academic year, but was not granted a work permit.
In the 1968 - 1969 academic year, he started his teaching career at Narlıköy Turkish Primary School and served for 35 years without interruption.
In 1990, he enrolled in the two-year associate degree programme of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty in Türkiye and graduated in 1992.
