PASOK party announces its parliamentary candidates
Candidates for the Pasok party's deputies for the Western Thrace region of Xanthi and Rhodope were also announced. In addition to Burhan Baran, one of the minority candidates in Xanthi, who is currently a deputy, Berrin Deli İbrahim, whose name is not well known in the political scene, was nominated as a candidate.
The Pasok party, which decided to continue with the current minority deputy in the Rhodope province, preferred Sibel Mustafaoğlu, who has been in politics for many years and served in the Pasok party, unlike Xanthi as the second minority member candidate.
Sibel Mustafaoğlu became a parliamentary candidate from the Rhodope province
Sibel Mustafaoğlu, Board Member of PASOK Rhodope Provincial Organization and Chairman of ORFEAS, Rhodope Provincial Addiction Prevention and Mental Health Center, became a parliamentary candidate from the Rhodope province in the general elections to be held in 2023.
Making a statement about her candidacy, Sibel Mustafaoğlu said:
“Dear friends, at the PASOK Central Assembly meeting held today, the names of the people who will be candidates for parliamentary elections in the upcoming general elections were announced. According to the statement made by the party, I would like to share with you that I am among the candidates for parliamentary elections in the general elections. I have decided to enter this race to bring back hope and to tell you the truth, together with you, in this period when our community is tired, broken, and the economic crisis and the backs of our people are bent. Despite everything, we will join hands and be successful. I look forward to your support in this race. Kind regards."
