Panel on Balkan Periodicals to be held in Komotini
A panel titled “Balkan Periodicals: The Journey of Islamic Thought, 1918–1990” will be held in Komotini on Tuesday, 20 May, hosted by BIHLIMDER.
The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and will take place at the BIHLIMDER Cultural Center in Komotini.
The panel will be moderated by Dr. Ahmet Köroğlu.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hamdi Çilingir, presenting on “Periodicals and Islamic Thought in Greece”
Dr. Fation Shabani, speaking on “Periodicals and Islamic Thought in Albania”
Enisa Alomerovic, presenting on “Periodicals and Islamic Thought in Serbia and Montenegro”
The panel is part of a project supported by Balkan Periodicals, the Balkan Studies Foundation, and YTB (Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities), and is hosted locally by BIHLIMDER.
The event is open to all those interested.
