Mufti’s Office of Xanthi launches sacrifice donation campaign for Gaza
In an official statement shared via the Mufti’s social media channels, the campaign was introduced under the slogan “Share your Qurban, draw closer to your brother in Gaza.” The cost of each sacrificial animal to be donated for the benefit of Muslims in Gaza has been set at €260.
The announcement also emphasized that financial donations are welcome in addition to Qurban contributions, stating, “Financial support for our brothers and sisters in Gaza is also being accepted.”
The campaign will be organized in collaboration with Türkiye’s Presidency of Religious Affairs (Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı) and the Diyanet Foundation.
Muslim Turks of Western Thrace wishing to contribute can apply in person at the Mufti’s Office of Xanthi, located at 19 Anthipolohagou Stogiannidi Evangelou Street, Xanthi.
