Muftis of İskeçe and Gümülcine visit Türkiye’s Ambassador to Athens

Mustafa Trampa, Mufti of İskeçe and Chairman of the Western Thrace Turkish Minority Advisory Board, together with İbrahim Şerif, paid a courtesy visit to Çağatay Erciyes at the Turkish Embassy in Athens.
The meeting, held on Monday, March 30, focused on maintaining dialogue and strengthening ties between Türkiye and the Western Thrace Turkish Muslim Minority.
Following the visit, Mufti Mustafa Trampa shared a brief statement expressing appreciation:
“Today, we paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Çağatay Erciyes, Ambassador of our motherland Türkiye to Athens. We thank the Ambassador for his warm welcome and kind attention.”
The visit reflects ongoing engagement between community representatives in Western Thrace and Turkish diplomatic officials, amid broader efforts to address minority-related issues and foster bilateral understanding.
