Mufti offices call for councillor elections
The Mufti's Office of Xanthi in its Friday sermon today (Friday, 15 December) included the elections for the Board of Councillors to be held in the minority schools throughout Western Thrace. The Mufti's Office asked the parents of the students to take care of the minority schools and elect the Board of Councillors.

In the Friday sermon shared by the Mufti's Office of Xanthi on social media, the following statements were made regarding the councillor elections
"Whatever we can do for our religious brothers and sisters, our community and our children who will build our future, we should endeavour to do it without hesitation and with a love of worship. As many of us know, the elections for councillors will be held in our minority schools next Wednesday 20 December. These elections are of great importance for our minority schools and therefore for our community. Therefore, we should be sensitive about this issue and we should be aware of our responsibility and participate in these elections by going to our schools. We should not forget the importance of this for our future."
The Friday sermon of the Mufti's Office of Komotini also emphasised the importance of protecting the minority schools. In the sermon of the Mufti's Office of Komotini, a call was made for all parents of students to participate in the elections for the Board of Councillors to be held on Wednesday 20 December in order to elect the administrators of the schools where the youth will be educated better and to protect the minority schools.
