MP Burhan Baran: The initiative in Misvaklı should be an example for many villages
5 candidates competed for the Misvaklı (Feloni) Mosque Board of Trustees of the Bulustra (Avdira) municipality of Xanthi. About 130 people voted in the election.
Xanthi Deputy Burhan Baran closely followed the Board of Trustees elections and pointed out that these elections, which were held with great participation, were very important for unity and solidarity, and congratulated those people for their sensitivity to the issue.
In his statement on his social media account, Deputy Baran said, "While Mosque Trustees cannot be formed in many other villages in Xanthi, I am very pleased that the election of the mosque trustee board with multiple candidates and participation in Misvaklı village was done.
I visited them and wished them success. With the hope that this initiative will set an example for many villages in Xanthi that do not have mosque trustees.” He made the statement.
