Miraj Night celebrated in numerous mosques across Western Thrace

Muslim Turks in Western Thrace celebrated Miraj Night with programs held in various mosques throughout the region.
Events in Rodopi and Evros
The Muftiate of Komotini organized Miraj Night programs in seven different mosques across the Rodopi and Evros regions under the slogan, "Let’s Be Together on Miraj Night." One of these events was held at the Kırmahalle Mosque in Komotini.
After the evening prayer, the Mufti of Komotini, İbrahim Şerif, addressed the significance of Miraj Night. Religious officials from the elected Muftiate recited Qur'anic verses (Aşr-ı Şerif), hymns, and the Mevlid-i Şerif. Mufti İbrahim Şerif concluded with a communal prayer as attendees joined hands in prayer together.
Celebrations in Xanthi
The spirit of Miraj Night was also vibrant in Xanthi, where the Xanthi Muftiate hosted a program at Mescid-i Atik Mosque. The event saw a significant turnout, including local dignitaries and representatives of the Turkish minority.

At the event, religious officials from the Xanthi Muftiate recited Qur'anic verses, hymns, and the Mevlid-i Şerif. The night concluded with collective prayers, uniting the attendees in an atmosphere of faith and community.
