Minority school students of Dekarchos visit topeiros town hall
On Friday, May 23, 2025, the 5th and 6th grade students of the Minority School of Dekarchos, accompanied by their principal, paid an educational visit to the Topeiros Town Hall. The initiative was part of a broader program aimed at familiarizing students with the operations of local government.
During the visit, students were given a guided tour of the Town Hall and received information about the various municipal services. They also had the opportunity to engage in a conversation with the Mayor, discussing issues concerning the daily life of their village.
As part of the visit, the students submitted written proposals and requests to the Mayor. These included:
- Upgrading local playgrounds
- Improving school equipment
- Implementing environmental protection initiatives
- Promoting cultural activities
The Mayor thanked the students for their participation and expressed his intention to review their proposals, emphasizing the importance of involving young people in public dialogue.
