During his visit to Western Thrace, the Mayor of Istanbul's Sultangazi Municipality, Abdurrahman Dursun, paid an official visit to Kozlukebir Municipality on March 20, 2025.

Mayor Erdem Hüseyin of Kozlukebir welcomed Dursun and his delegation at the municipal headquarters, where the two leaders engaged in discussions on various topics and exchanged ideas.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the mayors presented gifts to each other, reinforcing the friendly ties between their municipalities.
Following the official visit, Mayor Dursun and his delegation attended a communal iftar dinner in the village of Işıklar, where they had the opportunity to connect and engage with members of the local Turkish community.
