Mayor Delihüseyin reproaches Minister Kerameos
The Mayor of Myki (Mustafçova), Rıdvan Delihüseyin, reproached the Minister of Education Niki Kerameos' visit to Pachni (Paşevik) village by bypassing the local government.
President Delihüseyin reacted to the visit of the Minister of Education Kerameos, who came to Xanthi to attend the opening of the Jewish Holocaust memorial, to the Paşevik village without the Mayor's information.
Mayor of Mustafçova, Rıdvan Delihüseyin, in his statement on his social media account, evaluated this attitude of Minister Kerameos as "she refrained from listening to our thoughts and suggestions about Minority Education".
President Delihüseyin expressed his reproach to the Minister of Education Kerameos as follows:
“During my time as mayor, I openly expressed my gratitude for the cooperation and support of many government ministers and of course Prime Minister Mitsotakis for our municipality. It was always possible to contact them directly on their personal phones, and this possibility still continues.
However, the same situation is unfortunately not possible for Kerameos, the Minister of Education today. Because although they visited a village of our municipality, they refused to listen to our thoughts and suggestions about Minority Education. I learned that she did not meet with important public institutions either.
I hope this omission is due to limited time and heavy workload, not other reasons.”
