İskeçe Municipality launches public consultation on new municipal market operating regulation
The Municipality of İskeçe has announced the start of a public consultation on the new Operating Regulation Plan for the Municipal Market of İskeçe. The proposed framework defines the organization, operation, management, and supervision of the city’s historic market, a key landmark in İskeçe’s cultural, architectural, and commercial identity.
The new regulation aims to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the market, preserve its historic and traditional character, and support local entrepreneurship and economic growth. It also promotes cleanliness, aesthetic harmony, and sustainability, while enhancing the market’s role as a hub of trade and social life and contributing to the overall improvement of public space.
The public consultation will remain open until Sunday, November 9, 2025. All citizens, professionals, and local organizations are encouraged to participate by submitting their suggestions and comments on the draft plan.
