İskeçe Chamber of Commerce: One-month extension granted for completion of pending G.E.MI. obligations
The İskeçe Chamber of Commerce has informed entities obliged to register with the General Commercial Registry (G.E.MI.) that a one-month extension has been officially granted for the completion of pending obligations.
The decision granting the extension was published in the Official Gazette (Government Gazette No. 7204/B/31.12.2025) under Decision No. 104666/2025. The decision amends paragraphs 2 and 3 of Article 20, concerning transitional provisions, of Joint Ministerial Decision No. 46982/2025 (Government Gazette No. 3542/B/8.7.2025) issued by the Ministries of National Economy and Finance, and Development.
According to the new decision, until January 31, 2026, entities obliged to register with G.E.MI. may, without the imposition of any administrative sanctions, take the following actions:
Register with G.E.MI. if they fall under the obligation set out in Article 16 of Law 4919/2022 and have not yet completed registration.
Proceed with any pending registrations whose omission would otherwise result in the imposition of fines.
Complete registrations for which a suspension of registration has already been imposed.
Request corrections from the competent G.E.MI. Service for errors attributable to the entity itself, including errors made during company formation via the electronic One-Stop Shop Service, automated registrations, automatic reservation of company name and/or distinctive title, or during the submission of applications for the registration of acts under Article 25 of Law 4919/2022.
Respond to notifications and requests received either through automated messages or directly from the competent G.E.MI. Services.
As of February 2, 2026, the competent G.E.MI. Services will begin imposing the предусмотрed administrative sanctions on non-compliant entities that violate the rules governing commercial publicity.
