Invitation for all to the Hıdrellez festival
Hıdrellez Spring Festival, which will be organized jointly by the Xanthi Turkish Union (ITB) and Miki Municipality, will be held in Thermes (Ilıca) village on Friday, May 6, 2022. All members of the Muslim Turkish Minority of Western Thrace are invited.
Hıdrellez-Spring Festival, which will be organized jointly by the Xanthi Turkish Union (ITB) and Miki Municipality, will be held in Thermes (Ilıca) village on Friday, May 6, 2022. The Spring festival, which has been held traditionally since 2004, will be held again after three years due to the Ramadan month and the Covid -19 outbreak.
The event, which will be held in the thermal springs (baths) area of Thermes (Ilıca) village, will start on Friday, May 6, at 15.30. Xanthi Turkish Union folk dance teams will perform at the Hıdrellez festival.
Music course students will also sing songs and folk songs. There will also be a mini concert at the event. The traditional Hıdrellez treat (gölle) will be served.
It has been noted that the bus allocated for those who want to attend the Hıdrellez event from Xanthi will depart from ‘Yaka bus stop’ on Friday, May 6 at 14.30.
