Group workshop in İskeçe aims to strengthen workers and address workplace harassment
A highly important group workshop titled “Empowerment and Support for Addressing Moral Harassment and Violence in the Workplace” is being organized by the Community Center and the Counseling Center for Women Victims of Violence of the Municipality of İskeçe “Zoi Dalaklidou,” in collaboration with the Labour Institute of the GSEE (Eastern Macedonia–Thrace branch).
The workshop will take place on Wednesday, December 10, from 17:30 to 20:30, at the Old Town Hall building (Mavromichali 8). It is open to both employees and unemployed individuals who wish to become informed and strengthen their skills regarding workplace dynamics.
Purpose of the Initiative
The event aims to provide targeted information and counseling support so that participants can:
- Identify early signs of moral harassment and other forms of workplace violence
- Understand their rights and available institutional protection mechanisms
- Strengthen their psychological and practical capacity to handle difficult or harmful workplace situations
- This action is part of the Municipality of İskeçe’s broader effort to prevent and address phenomena that undermine dignity and safety in professional environments.

Deputy Mayor Konstantinos Gagalidis emphasized the importance of such initiatives, noting that awareness and empowerment are essential tools for protecting workers and fostering healthier and safer workplace relationships.
